VIDEO: Patience and Passion

This video is of a short seminar given by an internet entrepreneur to other internet entrepreneurs. Although I believe it falls more under the category of “general life advice” and is easily translatable to pickup.

If you don’t see how it applies immediately, watch again with the following in mind: Money = Lays; Business = Lifestyle; Work = Sarging.

Although the advice is fairly generic, I believe it’s important. It’s one of those “this is water” things where it’s constantly under our nose (be passionate about what you do; have patience to reach your goals) that we often forget it.

It’s inspired some thoughts from me, as it particularly relates to some life changes I’ve been making and also a student I’ve been working with. I’ll be back in a day or two with a full post full of my ideas. But in the meantime, check it out and leave any comments if it inspires something in you.

From continued repetition of your life advice through various mediums with multiple explanations from different perspectives in addition to my own life experience – I think I’m finally starting to see the light.

Pretty good video.

Best part? When he swaps at a fly and says “get out of my face!”

Minor thing, but speaks volumes about him as a person, IMO.

Great site, Good video! I love how he recognizes we ALL have time to do what we love. Even with a 9-6PM, you can work on your passions and it leaves you something to look forward to every day. Not to mention two whole free days on the weekend, and without a family, no one has an excuse NOT to work on what they love. That is, if they want it bad enough ;)

Thank you for this, it`s so great.

This guy is unbelievable. Up to now i thought the internet millionaires were a bunch of nerds that got lucky but he shows the opposite. =D Great mentality and personality he conveys here plus an enviable ability to speak and motivate.

Yeah and youre absolutely right, this is some kind of “this is water” thing although some might not get the importance of what is said. It really applies to your whole lifestyle. To pickup – comeon, is it really what you want to say when asked “What do you do for living, do you live your passion?” -

“Yeah, i do, i bang a lot of chicks.”

Mystery may say that it is the ultimate purpose of life but i believe that is quite poor. Not that you cant apply this to pickup, it can be applied to everything, the simple “this is water” take-home-message is:

If you want something it will not come to you by itself.

Realize: Days when your Mum made you something to eat just the moment you mention “I am hungry” are over. There are so many people out there somehow believing you can simply wish to have things and luck (or others) will give it to you. That may happen but – its luck. Some are lucky. Most are not. And because we are lazy we tend to think most of successful people were just lucky. Its easier to think so because you can be lazy and blame it on bad luck (instead of blaming it on being a pussy not trying at all). In reality most successful people just KNOW that its not luck. It is work, the more work the more likely the chance of success. Its the same everywhere. In Pickup, in general.

Do something, get something. Do nothing, guess what…
