You’ll notice a lot of major changes with the new site. Here’s a rundown of them:

1. I’m disassociating with the terms “Pick Up Artist,” “PUA” and the name “Entropy.” For any of you who have followed the blog the last year, you’ll know that it just doesn’t make sense for me anymore. I am continuing to write dating advice, develop products, coach and give seminars. But I don’t subscribe to that moniker or the community. There’s just too much that’s unhealthy about it that I don’t want to be associated with anymore. For more information, you can check out the article My Life as a Pick up Artist on the new site. It’s not that I “hate” the community or that it’s wrong or anything. I’ve just moved on.

2. You’ll notice some “newbie” type posts on the new site. For those familiar with PUA, a lot of these posts will seem remedial (i.e., How to Start a Conversation). The new site and brand is directed towards a much more mainstream audience. So if you think it’s too simple, then just don’t read it. There’s still plenty of in-depth articles being written and posted.

3. Of the 400 or so posts on EntropyPUA, only about 75 made the cut. Many of them were expanded, consolidated and revised and are in new forms on the new site. If you’ve enjoyed the direction this blog has taken in the last 6-8 months, then you’ll like all of the new content coming a lot.

4. There are about 25 new articles, half of which are some of the “newbie” posts listed above. Regular updates will return 2-3 times a week. Articles on the new site will be more content-based, more in-depth and more widely applicable. Most references to my daily life or personal life will probably stop.

5. You may see some broken links to new articles here and there. Those are articles that are scheduled to be posted in the next week or two but haven’t been finished yet.

6. Most of the comments from this site were carried over and consolidated, so you may see some posts where there are comments from 2008 even though the post is listed as recent.

7. As always, I’ll be active in the comments and I’ll be adding some forums in the near future. I’ll be going by my real name from now on.

8. I now have a few coaches who are working for me. They are not full-time coaches, but guys I’ve worked with before many times and at this point have a decent amount of experience that I trust them to do an excellent job.

9. EntropyPUA.com has already been gutted for all its best content posts. The 150 best posts from the last three years or are either on the new site, part of products or bonuses to products. This site will no longer be updated. The front domain page will be remade listing my websites in general. As far as I’m considered, “Entropy” and “EntropyPUA.com” are more or less dead.

Proceed to Practical Pickup

• New product launch. The new product is basically my book Practical Pickup, plus about a dozen of my best blog posts, plus a bunch of audio and video, plus a bunch of exercises and in-field challenges. It’s all organized into a step-by-step system that tells guys exactly what to learn and to practice in order. Obviously when this product is released, the blog posts that are part of it will be removed forever.
• I will be moving the blog over to www.practicalpickup.com. There are a few reasons for this, mostly marketing-related. I will continue to update the blog, although probably only half as frequently. Also, a lot of very generic and boring material that very few of you will read will be added to its archives, again for marketing purposes. My updates there will probably continue to be my personal musings and personal development as they’ve been here the last six months or so. Despite organizing the content for marketing purposes, the updates will not be commercialized.
• EntropyPUA.com will be re-situated 100% for my coaching business. It will probably become a static page with links to my products and coaching services.
• Coaching prices will probably go up slightly again, as well as bringing on 1-2 coaches under me. Do not ask about coaching for me, I already have plenty of friends who are qualified. If you’ve been thinking about doing some coaching, and don’t want to get hit with the new prices, my guess is they’ll go up in August sometime.
• My guess is by the end of the year, I will start a personal travel blog/site, which will receive more attention and be more about living mobile, passive income, international travel, and other life observations. It appears as time goes on, I’m going the way of Herbal and Style… becoming far more interested in developing my lifestyle as a whole, rather than just getting laid a lot.

I love writing this blog and still put a lot of time and effort into it. But these days, it makes less and less sense for me to maintain it to such a degree — both professionally and personally. It will continue to exist, but whereas for most of the last 3 years, it’s been either my ENTIRE business, or the primary focus of my business, going forward, it’s going to have to become a secondary priority.

There have been some seriously life-changing discussions here and when it comes to intellectual engagement and understanding, this is the best readership I could ever hope for. So thank you all.

Here’s a heads up that I’ll be speaking at the 2010 Dating Conference in NYC from June 4-6th. This is looking to be the biggest conference of the year with a great line up of speakers. Guys who’ve read me for a while know that I usually turn down conference speaking opportunities, but after meeting the organizers this last Winter and talking to them, I have to say I’m pretty excited about this one.

My talk will be called, “Pick Up as an Emotional Process.” If you’ve read the blog religiously, then you’ll have a vague idea what direction I’m going with it. But basically the idea is that everything we do in pick up is designed to elicit the proper emotional responses from the woman and ourselves. All tactics, and techniques are designed for this purpose. Whatever you do and say is only as useful as the emotion it elicits. From this starting point, I hope to draft out a new way of practicing seduction.

My guess is, at least 50-60% of the content will remain untouched. The bulk of the posts about my life, experiences, day-to-day thoughts and a lot of the deeper theory and musings on emotions and whatnot will still be here. At this point, the blog contains in the ballpark of 400-600 pages worth of free material written over the last 3 years. The idea is to chop away the fat, throw out what’s out-dated, use the most applicable advice in my business, and then keep the blog itself as a place for me to continually post new ideas, theories or experiences to get feedback from all of you guys. I’ll also be throwing up a new conversation demolition in the next day or two here on the blog for those of you guys who aren’t familiar with them (they’ve been a mainstay around here for about two years now).

From now on, one on one in-person coaching must be a minimum of two nights (and/or days). The reasons for this:

1) For the majority of people and sticking points, one night isn’t enough time to see a significant amount of improvement or long-term change — or at least the amount that I’d be happy with. One night is usually just long enough to have the “mindfuck” experience, but not actually practice new skills.
2) I’m only interested in students who are serious about their development and learning this stuff — not guys looking for a quick fix or a “magic pill.” Bootcamps take work. They’re rigorous. And you get as much out of them as you put into them.
3) I have less and less time to run around the country (or world) to coach guys for just one night. It just doesn’t financially make sense for me anymore.
4) I’m interested in only taking on a handful of students each year, but working with them on more of a long-term basis.

Here are the new one on one prices:

Two Sessions: $1750
Three Sessions: $2350
Four Sessions: $2850*
Five Sessions: $3350*
Any Session After that: $400 more*

* – Packages of four sessions or more can be split up between two different weeks.

Each session is relatively the same: 6-7 hours per day, at least four hours in field, debriefing, and 1-2 hours of seminar/theoretical coaching.

Coaching will also come with one phone consult for every night we work together. So if we do three nights together, you have three free phone consultations with me that you can use whenever you choose.

And if you have a friend who is interested in coaching as well, then I will do a 1-on-2 for only 50% more the regular price — so you both basically get 25% off. (For example: One guy, three nights is $2,350; two guys, three nights is $3,575 or $1,787 each; you each save $562)

Over the past year, I’ve been collecting infield footage of myself and some of my instructor friends throughout the community. When all was said and done, I had more than 20 hours of footage.

Well a sizeable chunk of that has been edited, produced and launched as the site: PickupTube.net

The results on this site are results that have never been captured on camera before: pulls, 30 second makeouts, kissing sisters, etc., etc. And there’s more footage in the pipeline.

On top of that, I aggregated links to all of the free infield footage that can be found on sites like YouTube and Google video.

All in all, the site contains almost 30 hours of footage and you can get access to a lot of it for free. All of the good stuff requires a premium membership, which you can try out for only $1. If you like it (and you will), then it’s only $9.97 a week after that.
