PUA Ethics Revisited

The topic of PUA ethics was recently broached on Erika’s blog. A fierce discussion erupted (as it often does) in the comments there and I wanted to make a more complete point in a post here.

Many of my long-time readers will remember my saga with the bachelorette and the debate that ensued afterward.

The short version of the story is that I hung out with a bachelorette party one night and ended up hooking up with the bachelorette, who subsequently gave me her number and told me to come to her hotel to fuck her. The moral dilemma was: do you do it?

What’s been raised on Erika’s blog is similar: should you hook up with a girl when you expect negative repercussions for other people?

First, I’ll give my complete answer to the question, then I’ll present the different arguments and finally, I’ll copy a post that a friend of mine made a long time ago that I think sums up this moral dilemma more succinctly and better than anything I’ve ever seen. Continue…
