Good predictions, PS:: i was right about predictions on splintering of the industry and growth of local coaches.

Interesting observations on it becoming all for money. I totally agree, comradery gone once money stepped in. But it was like that in early 2000s too, except on much smaller scale. I remember NY lair starting to make money, and all of a sudden they way things flow changed.

One thing, i fully disagree with you is that market has matured. Not even close, there is still large room to grow. You have mentioned that there are still millions of guys who need this, and this will continue to be the trend. What will happen (in my opinion) and if you read my blog, you can see that since 2007 i was pretty much on the money over all, i think 1) Localization will continue, but it will no longer will be called pua industry, it will be called dating coaching. It will focus on life style and skill set, rather then pick up and ONS.

2) local companies will being to grow. I have experienced it with my company, as large guys collapse under old structure no longer working and new structure is not nearly as profitable, small guys gets the pie.

If anyone curious what were my thought on industry, why my blog is largely inactive now, there is still plenty of ideas on industry and its development. A lot of it during the gold rush era.

What a great article. I’ve been looking for more, “industry,” type news because I too am a coach. And you are right, I’m just as good as those famous fuckers. The reason the best are famous though, is because they have loads and loads of experience and a solid reputation for positive results. Thee best are also artists, where the rest are just dudes that teach cookie cutter pickup.

The Puahate train is bustling. There are so many guys out there that have been burned by the community, promised all kinds of stuff and nothing really was delivered. I have spent thousands and its been like throwing money out the door. No the train of discontent is moving full steam ahead. Its call buyers remorse….

Wow,
I’ve read 100+ blog posts today and this one is by far the most valuable.

I’m not sure you’re on the mark with the idea that the industry is contracting, more and more lairs are popping up, however, the money is certainly becoming more and more decentralized. That would be expected though.

With a larger market comes more competition and prices are beginning to decline. No one wants to travel 200 miles to get a bootcamp so hometown guys are popping up left and right.

I certainly understand and agree with your assertion about PUA worship. A PUA is no longer looked at as a GOD….. just a guy with good social skills

As for theory……well who knows. The core beliefs of the community (the EPM) is just a theory in itself. Hell, psychology is just a theory. I would bet that a lot of the main concepts will continue to be beaten to death with new sales pages and better graphics but utilizing the same core conpets.

Over at PuaHate.com, the hate movement is running full steam ahead, without feeling a need to replace being a Pua with something.
Being creepy and weird with premeditated ways to talk to people will always be creepy, no matter whether if it gets you laid sometimes or not.

We can hate any Pua in 13 minutes, because it will be a masterpiece.
And your spam filter sucks balls.

I think, that in a few years there will be no more “reavolutionary” things at all.
just recycling old things.
Simply because Picking Up woman is no “rocket science” and so there can’t be unlimited theories and systems.
It’s like taking a dump.
Just do it, dammned….you can’t wirte thousands of pages about doing it.
And, in addition, people may be start to get laid and then realize that it isn’t incredible awsome to drag drunk chicks out of clubs and bang them for 30 seconds before you burst your load

I never really could relate to the community’s love of new, “groundbreaking” content.

It always struck me as magic bullet seeking in a way, or just thinking anything new is automatically good.

The early years of the community were different obviously, but I feel we’ve pretty much reached a point where there’s lots of stuff that works, and the real problem is being able to apply it properly and to put in the time to get good at it.

At this point I always assume anything ‘new’ is just different, not some amazing breakthrough that will finally make everything easy and simple.
