Just wanted to add that the point of driving in the circle was not just a “cute” move, but more importantly a way of getting a lot of compliance from the girl as soon as possible. He could have just said “let’s walk, I’m staying right here,” but now that he got her to get into the car with him, it is going to be easier for him to escalate the compliance ladder further.
