It's a temporary mental re-frame to get you out of crying in bed and out there moving on with your life. For instance, if I get dumped and am very depressed about it, I'll tell myself, "I'll make this the worst decision she ever made. I'm going to get a six pack and a million dollars." It's bullshit, but it gets me motivated to get back outside again and moving on with things. @Erika: You’re not actually making her regret anything. You show me that guys dont have to be good looking or even decent looking you just gotta have your life in order and then develop game.
