Just a quick non-sequiter for everyone. I’m at my shitty temp job and there’s this woman who works here in her 50’s or 60’s. She’s a real sweet old woman and she’s been here forever and kind of has her own desk. Well, she’s out today so they gave me her desk and EVERYWHERE there are pictures of fucking horses. No kids, no husband, just horses — horse calendar, horse poster, and… horse desktop wallpaper. It’s kind of nauseating.

So, after a few hours or working, as usual, I became painfully bored. I browsed all my typical websites and forums…. three or four times, looked up random YouTube videos, Facebook stalked old friends, etc. And every time I run out of stuff to do, I closed out to that fucking horse wallpaper, look up to see the horse poster, the horse photos — prancing through fields, playing in daisies, sniffing each other’s asses, whatever.

I couldn’t take it. An impulse came over me. You ever see “The Godfather?” You know the scene where the really rich guy owes the Corleone’s money but refuses to pay, and so he wakes up in his bed to blood-soaked sheets with a severed horse’s head lying next to him? Yeah… that one. Pretty fucking gruesome. I found a pic of that scene online and guess what the new wallpaper is? Yeah… pretty twisted. But hey, fuck you, I thought it was funny.
