No you dont need to be 100% salesmen but you have to make it clear. Also I think you never really pitched your BC other than the mention by JTR that you were in town for BC. You could have baited the students by saying something like...we have two spots open so for tonite only we will be giving a big discount for anyone interested, (Gotta throw in a little bit of infomercial, it works for tv.) come and talk to us after.<br/><br/>Finally, I know you guys are top in what you do, but i think because you were definitely taking questions from the newest guys, your talk ended up being too basic.
