I just got home from doing the Detroit Lair talk with El Topo. It was pretty awesome, we met a lot of great guys and got some great feedback.

I have to send out a thanks to Alexander_the_Great for hosting us, giving us rides, booking our hotel, etc. This dude is NUTS! He’s like a Greek version of Joe Pesci and fucking hilarious. There were a number of times where he did shit that had me and Topo in stitches laughing so hard.

Saturday night, some guys drove us out to Grand Rapids, Michigan to party with them. It was a great time and they were a great bunch of guys. We didn’t really game at all as we were too busy getting HAMMERED. These guys just kept shoveling alcohol in our faces. My pleas that I don’t drink that much anymore were just met with more tequila shots. We did a bunch of retarded shit and laughed our asses off while the girls we did talk to stared at us in confusion.

All in all, it was nice to let loose and just goof around. One thing that sucks about coaching is you don’t have as many “let’s just fuck around” nights. As for the Grand Rapids crew, they were awesome and pretty decent in-field as well. Hopefully I’ll be seeing them again in Boston soon.
